Q: How do I get there?

A: Take a flight to Munich International "Franz-Josef-Strauss" Airport
by train: take a train to Munich Main Station and then take the airport-shuttle S-Bahn (S1 or S8) to the airport (40min).
Once you are at the airport just follow the signs "kempinski-airport-hotel" (5min walk).

Q: When should I register?

A: Register today to make sure you are definitely in. We have a limited occupancy of 150 seats only - first come, first serve!

Q: When does it start and when does it end?

A: Troopers08 starts at 9am on 23 April 2008 and ends at 5pm on 24 April 2008-01-23

Q: How do I register?

A: Simply register online here.

Q: Can I bring my own laptop?

A: Absolutely. BYOL to join the packet wars!

Q: Can you recommend any hotels nearby?

A: Yes - we have made arrangements with different hotels nearby. These hotels offer shuttle-buses to the airport (where troopers is at).

Q: What if I register, pay and can´t make it to troopers08?

A: No problem. You can send a collegue/coworker (please inform us via e-mail to info@troopers08.org before) or we will accept your registration for troopers09.

Q: Dresscode for the troopers08 party?

A: Yes! Leisure wear. Anything that makes you feel comfortable during your conversations with the global security troopers :)

Q: Can I download the talks and presentations after the con?

A: Sure. Check the download area late April 2008.

Q: Internet connectivity available?

A: Yes. We will have internet connectivity for all troopers08 participants.

Q: Can I give a talk / present a cool demo?

A: Submit your bio, a brief description of your talk and some background information about why you should be featured as a speaker to info@troopers08.org. We will get back to you.

Q: How is the food?

A: You will be spoiled by the luxurious buffet for lunch, constant coffee and beverages, delicious pastry and sweets whenever you desire it.

Q: What is the main language during the con?

A: Troopers08 is an international IT-Security Conference with speakers from all around the world. The language spoken during the con is English.
